This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability. The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state. We also released a Outlook Fix Blog new rule that corrected the wrong campaign verdict for all impacted customers during the incident. You might need to set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates.
I finished the migration for legacy MFA since 1 months but I still have the problem. If none of that worked, I’d restore the server from backup when it was working and see what happens moving forward. If both of those don’t fix it, I’d run a full maintence cycle on the server.
